Consulting Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview of Advisory Services

Pulsebeaconhub Consulting Ltd. provides bespoke professional programming consulting, incident retrospective facilitation, cognitive debriefs, and reliability engineering audits. Because our advisory services require substantial advance allocation of principal engineering staff and specialized analytical resources, this Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the financial terms governing project cancellations, rescheduling, and refund requests.

2. Engagement Deposits & Payment Terms

Standard diagnostic engagements (such as the Facilitated Retrospective Blueprint or Architecture FMEA Sprint) require an initial deposit of 50% upon SOW execution prior to artifact ingestion and responder interview scheduling. The remaining 50% balance is invoiced upon delivery and presentation of the final Remediation Blueprint.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Conditions

• Cancellations Prior to Work Commencement: If the Client issues written notice of cancellation more than five (5) business days prior to the agreed kickoff date, the initial deposit will be refunded in full minus a 5% administrative transaction fee.
• Cancellations After Kickoff / Work Already Started: Once telemetry artifact ingestion, trace analysis, or responder interviews have commenced, the initial 50% deposit is non-refundable. The Client will be invoiced pro-rata only for verified engineering hours performed beyond the deposit amount up to the cancellation date.
• Workshop & Tabletop Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests for live interactive simulation drills or retrospective workshops made at least three (3) business days in advance will be accommodated at no additional penalty. Rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours notice may incur a 15% staff realignment charge.
• Client Responder No-Shows: If scheduled individual responder interview sessions are missed without 24 hours prior notice, our team will make reasonable efforts to reschedule within the sprint window; however, extended timeline delays resulting from repeated responder unavailability are the responsibility of the Client.

4. Quarterly Retainer Termination

Ongoing quarterly reliability advisory retainers require a 30-day written notice of non-renewal prior to the start of the next billing cycle. Fees for the active monthly billing period in which notice is given remain non-refundable.

5. Refund Request Process & Processing Times

To submit a formal request for refund or engagement credit under eligible conditions:

1. Send a written notification to info@pulsebeaconhub.click citing your company name, SOW contract reference number, and specific cancellation rationale.
2. Our finance desk will review the request against logged engineering hours and provide written confirmation within three (3) business days.
3. Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method (corporate wire transfer or ACH) within seven to ten (7–10) business days following mutual confirmation.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are strictly non-refundable:

• Fully delivered Remediation Blueprints, FMEA audit reports, and executive debrief presentations.
• Custom travel and lodging expenses already incurred for requested on-site engagements in Taiwan or internationally.
• Completed tabletop scenario simulation facilitation sessions.
