About Pulsebeaconhub Consulting
Independent incident retrospective facilitation and distributed systems reliability advisory based in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Our Origin & Mission
Pulsebeaconhub was founded in 2019 in Sanchong District, New Taipei City, by seasoned distributed systems engineers who recognized a persistent organizational failure: when mission-critical software systems suffer production blackouts, internal post-mortem meetings regularly descend into blame, defensive defensiveness, or superficial checklist-ticking.
Our mission is to provide rigorous, neutral, and blameless retrospective facilitation. We treat system failures as complex socio-technical events where software design, monitoring interfaces, operational load, and communication dynamics interact under conditions of severe uncertainty.
Over the past seven years, our consultancy has conducted deep-dive incident debriefs for high-throughput fintech platforms, logistics systems, and cloud infrastructure teams across Taiwan and the broader Asia-Pacific tech corridor.

Core Pillars of Blameless Investigation
1. The Local Rationality Principle
Responders make decisions that make sense to them given the telemetry they see and the systemic pressure they experience. We investigate why actions appeared reasonable in the heat of the moment rather than critiquing them in hindsight.
2. Deep Artifact Triangulation
We do not rely on subjective memories alone. We correlate application spans, database write-ahead logs, container restarts, and Slack messages millisecond by millisecond.
3. Architectural Actionability
Every finding must translate into an architectural safeguard—such as dead-letter drains, adaptive backpressure, or idempotent transaction tokens—rather than bureaucratic documentation.
